For the small leaves on poinsettia, they are padded with 2 layers of felt and then worked with red bright check purls.
I love Goldwork but I appreciate to work also with colors and mix technics. Silver and gold can sometimes be limiting...

Beautiful work, I love any embroidery that can be shown to its full potential through Fashion. I have recently visited Ronda in Spain and went to the Bullring Museum. The Matador costumes were fantastic.
