Profile Information

What textiles are you interested in?
All of them, love to learn new and improve on the old.
Where did you learn your textile skills?
Self taught since I was small with sewing and embroidery. Got heavy into quilting since 1986 and have taken numerous quilt classes and have joined numerous quilt guilds. Currently i am a freelance Lady working with Fiber Arts in general to expand my creativity as color and textures are my passion!
Is there anything else you'd like other members of Stitchin' Fingers to know about you? Please feel free to tell us a little bit about yourself by way of introduction.

Thank you for your kind words. When I put on my dresses, I become someone else, I held my head higher, It a little funny. I know the feeling being so in one with your work, that is a good feeling.

I haven't desided on my next dress, so meanwhile I am contentrating on embroidery.

Hi Owlbe, thanks for your kind words about my needlecase. That I did without a patern just trying to capture the flowers with different stitches. It was my first attempt to do it this way and i really enjoyed makeing it

The peacock i made from a freebie on  this blog: vintage-spice-everything-nice.blogspot.  The freebie is put on line on july 23 2011.  there are 3 very nice peacocks there.

I am pretty impressed by your goldwork beetle, great work!!!!!!!
