Profile Information
- What aspect of textiles are you interested in?
- I love crazy quilting and anything having to do with it. That is almost any kind of needlework and handwork. Silk Ribbon Embroidery is my way of expressing what I can not draw or paint, it is just easier to do with needle and silk ribbon.
- Where did you learn your textle skills?
- My aunt taught me to embroider at a very young. I can't remember when I did not embroider or make something with thread and hook or needle.
- Anything else you want to say to introduce yourself to the group??
- In the past year, I have become obsessed with beads and sewing them onto fabric in a very free handed manner. No patterns are for this lady, just mix and coordinate.
Since we have moved into a HOUSE from an RV and I have resigned from the local artist co-op, I will be producing a website complete with blog and all that. The HOUSE means that I have high speed Internet to facilitate computer uploading.

The big move
In the last week, I have been moving us into a house. A real house. Because we had things in storage as well as in our RV, it is like putting two households together, except of course everything belongs to us and not to him and her as such.
It is exciting and a new life. So far, we are in such a mess, I seem to be spending time on the computer, just so that I don't have to deal with where to put things and what we need and what we need to get rid of.
