What aspect of textiles are you interested in?

dyeing laces, motifs and threads; knitting with threads and yarns; embroidering on various fibers; making my own laces via tatting, knitting and crochet .... would like to learn bobbin lace; also enjoy various counted thread techniques on linen and other fibers.

Where did you learn your textle skills?

Embroidery from my Mom. Hardanger through EGA. Self-taught other skills.

Recently Mona is serving as swap hostess and this time people are actually making bags. I have the first year project's on my flickr site. They just started up the swap for this year. Interest has waned a little after 4 rounds but there are still enthusiastic swappers willing to do it.
