Profile Information

What textiles are you interested in?
My interest is in stitching: crewel, needlepainting, brazilian embroidery, whitework, canvas, counted thread, japanese embroidery, I am sure I foget some technique. Excuse the way I wrote in English, my first language is French.
Where did you learn your textile skills?
I begin with nun at school at 8 or 9. I stitch all my life. Now, I am member of different guilds: EAC, EGA, ANG and BDEIG
Is there anything else you'd like other members of Stitchin' Fingers to know about you? Please feel free to tell us a little bit about yourself by way of introduction.
I am retired since a year, and I like teach stitching.

Nicole, your embroidery is so impressive and elegant. It is apparent to me that you stirve for (and oten reach) perfection with the various embroidery techniques you have learned. It is refreshing to see one who applies discipline to the techniques and achieves superior quality in execution. I'm glad to see that you are teaching. And thank you for sharing your work on Stitchin Fingers.

I am learning Japanese Embroidery, in the UK with a JEC accrecited tutor.

Welcome to stitchin fingers.
Your second language is far better than my second language! I had to study Latin for three years at school, and unfortuately it has put me off learning any useful language ever since!
