Yes, it also took 22 months for me to finish a 12 month project. But I am pleased with the results and find great satisfaction just looking at it sitting on the table. Many personal memories have found a place to be recorded. Thank you Sharon so m...
Ten months after the end of this challenge, I finally finished my fiber book with the TIF pieces. I've posted pictures in the Photos section, but I've also posted pictures and information on my blog. I want to thank Sharon for having this challeng...
Marg - thanks for the link - he does a good job of explaining simply. I have to agree that there is a time for exercises and challenges and then there is a time to just get on with your work. I am about at the stage where I just want to go forward...

Creative textiles of all kinds are my passion, especially if created on the Embellisher machine. I enjoy hand and machine stitching, and also dyeing threads. Some of them can be found on the website listed below, others are at www.sassalynne.etsy.com
Where did you learn your textle skills?
Hampshire, UK
Anything else you want to say to introduce yourself to the group??
I am currently enjoying myself creating landscapes using fabric and thread. These are futher embellished with hand and/or machine stitching.
Today we travel to Ledbury for a selling and teaching trip. I'm teaching the Embellisher at Ledbury ArtPlace tomorrow, but this evening we are opening our shop with sales of Sassa Lynne goodies and other bits.
On Saturday we travel north to a hamlet near the town of Dolgellau. We are staying here for a few days, to recharge our batteries.
