I received Dakotah's and Allyson's . Both are beautiful and have been closely examined by DS2, who gave his seal of approval. Many thanks ladies (now posted in the right thread, too many windows open, lol) Pictures can be seen on my blog-http://www.…
I like to have a go at anything, do knitting, embroidery, needlepoint and some sewing.
Where did you learn your textle skills?
My dad taught me the basics to knitting, then my mum refined those skills. Alot of the embroidery and needlepoint I have picked up over the years, though my mum and I used to spend hours stitching together

Just been looking at your photos here, Jane, and they are lovely! If I had my computer back, I'd copy some of those to my hard drive to refer to some time in the future. ..as if I haven't got enough patterns and magazine cuttings now to refer to. That's all I seem to do - collect projects on paper but never get around to making them! Wait till you see what I bought at the Quilt & Craft Fair last week...can't wait to get my PC back to post them on my blog!
Delighted to hear from you,,, sheffield is a fabulous place I really miss it especially the patchwork place patchwork shop that Trish runs. Youve got all the asian shops and Hobbycrafts full of delights to get things from, Knitting is what I cant do I have tried Im still looking round for someone to knit the Kaffe fassett socks for me as I just cant do this at all lol.
Jane, we've got to stop meeting like this - LOL!!! Thanks for your reply. I am about to post some photos to my Patra's Place blog, of my latest FPCs. I finished the teacup one and like it so much that I don't want to part with it. So I made a new block tonight, with a teapot, as a replacement for the person I'm swapping with, and dang me if I haven't fallen in love with this one too!!
