Hi Miriam,
Thanks for your lovely words about my work. I believe that all those trinkets are the main part of the CQ, I love to use all those tiny mini things on the Crazy Quilts. I really don't know when I will stop to collect them? :))
Best wishes,
Rengin
Hello
I too am working on my phase X, and working on the cords at the moment. The idea of doing 30 minutes a day sounds a good idea and will have a go at it, as I am sure I could find that amount of time each day, at the moment work on it 2 or 3 times a week for a slightly longer period
Hello
I do my Japanesse class at Tamworth I started in 2000 and have phase 10 to finish (the flower ball) also Sake box in the phases but have others framed up to finish but I'm slowly working through them Jennifer ashley Taylor said we need to do 30 mins a day so am giving it a go to see if I can improve in my stitching

Profile Information
What aspect of textiles are you interested in?
Japanese Embroidery and other surface embroidery techniques including techniques from all countries.
Where did you learn your textle skills?
Compared to others I started embroidery at a very late stage in life...baby steps is my mantra. I have primarily been focused on Japanese Embroidery and have taken several classes from Kay Stanis.
Anything else you want to say to introduce yourself to the group??
I am a member of the Japanese Embroidery Center and Embroidery Guild Association (EGA). I am considering taking an online class, through EGA, in embroidery research. It consists of three classes and takes approximately one-year to complete.

The picture is actually a felted piece with hand embroidery as well but free motion over felting is wonderful.
