This week I also made just a couple of stitches as you can see here and here. Not of all of them turned out well, I really need to try it again when I have bought a milliner's needle.
It are not exactly buttonhole wheels, but I made a buttonhole oval and a buttonhole snailhouse. This little project is not finished yet, but as I will use other stitches for the finishing I thought I should share it yet.
I transferred the design on the fabric using a not too sharp regular pencil. Because I am stitching a little bit over the lines, you will not see it anymore afterwards.
I already started a little sampler to practise some TAST-stitches again and I have added three rows done in Arrowhead Stitch. Here is a picture, see row 7,8 and 9.
hi miriam, I noticed that you commented on the TAST page there is a place for questions from us late beginners. I don't know how many weeks this lasts, I'm starting on my own, now, hoping that I can catch up. Also, will TAST restart, after this has finished [ This straggler sure hopes so ] If I don't ask you, can you let me know where i find out these answers? Thanks in advance, kathie current
hello Miriam What part of the Nethelands do you come from? We have friends who live in Weert do you know of it is it near to you I have Looked at your blog site and like very much your cards and embroidery Hope to hear from you very soon
Hi Miriam, I just visited your blog. I love all of the cards that you are making. How are you covering up the back of the stitching so that it does not show on the inside of the card?
Hi Miriam,
I've just looked all the way through your blog, and have saved about eight of your freebie designs - I just love your work! There is one you have stitched with a row of cats, called chatschatschats, but there is no design provided for it. Can you tell me where I can get a copy of that? I'd love to do it, as it looks quick and easy.
