Hi Odette,
this looks great, is full of interesting pieces, I love the colour scheme. I really like the little shiny bead that is inside the netting which looks like a wrapped lollie, did it come this way or did you do this?

I have learnt a lot from my mother and grandmother, and am a member of the Embroiderers' Guild and have learnt from many of the other members, as well as from many magazines and even an online class or two.
it's the first time in ages that I have had time to play on the computer.
Checked out how to put my photos from flickr up here and change the appearance.
Will now spend some time checking out everyone's photos. There is an amazing variety of work and some very talented and creative people here.
Hello Memyni,
Thanks so much! The bead inside the turquoise net is actually a marble...the kind that we played with as children. You can also buy marbles in bags in florists... the kind that you put at the bottom of a flower vase for decoration. The ones from florists (or pound shops in the UK) are more beautiful than toy marbles. This particular marble has a beautiful sheen to it. I bought the net at a Craft fair. It is a tube of finely knitted metallic wire that is used in making necklaces.
Hi, just been checking your photos - love your work, especially the 'maze' with the lady beetles - a little bit of humour, just adore it. Your samples are v ery interesting to look at also. I am still learning the computer, so haven't a blog as yet - it will come and then I will be able to put my photos up. Which Guide do you belong to - I am a member of the Victorian Embroiders Guild (Geelong branch).
Hi, nice to meet you on Stitchin Fingers, thank you for the lovely comments, I enjoyed looking through your photos - especially liked the deserted beach, the little bird footprints :)
