Hi Kelly: I see that you also do needle punch. Do you have any hints or tricks to this? I tried this a couple of times, but my yarn loops kept coming undone. Do you use stabilizer on the back?
Any hints would be appreciated.

Yes, I am tempted with the pastels. I always love them when other people work them, but can never manage to get them to look right when I work them myself. I guess different strokes for different folks. I may spread out of my comfort zone a little more next time around. For now the quilting will be enough of a challenge, I think.
The exciting thing, apart from learning new things in class, will also be to see what everyone else comes up with.
It is always amazing to see how many different ideas seem to evolve from the one original source of inspiration.
Have fun.

Hi: As a mixed media artist, beader and painter, I am interested in using embroidery and beading to create some lovely things. I just signed up for your "Encrusted Crazy Quilt" course on Joggles for Feb 25th. I love your work, your SharonB's website.
Where did you learn your textle skills?
Family, friends, trial and error, many years of working.
Anything else you want to say to introduce yourself to the group??
I really look forward to the class in 2 weeks and I again, would love to complement your work. Quite an inspiration!
Also, I signed up as mas90098-shopping@yahoo.com because that is the email I use for shopping on Joggles. My regular email addy is: theplumcat@yahoo.com (not to confuse you)
