I know what you mean about wanting to do so much and not having enough days. I think I've got about 20 years before I hit the final brick wall. Till then I have
3 or 4 dozen of my own bobbin lace designs to work sample of
(unless the list gets longer because I keep on designing)
2 dozen pulled thread designs
2 or 3 dozen Hardanger designs
books and books full of other people's bobbin lace designs that I want to work as well areas where I want to advance my skill and learn new forms.

I claimed the biggest bedroom! We use our bedroom for sleeping, and providing the bed fits we are fine!
