What aspect of textiles are you interested in?

patchwork, (special crazy and applikation) doteedolls,icicle dolls felting,fabrics dying by own. and all what have hearts! fabric beads, glass beads.

Where did you learn your textle skills?

Europa.- the Netherlands.(workshops and long time ago on school)

Anything else you want to say to introduce yourself to the group??

i like;
the colors; yellow, blue, pink/orange, red, purple.
glassbeads.lace,threads,
chocolate,icecream, fruit,
the garden;, roses, lavender, hortensia,
butterflies,the pool,mine dog, walking on the beach.working on soapstone.
and of course mine husband, the kids and grandson!!

I haven't been looking forward to using a marking pencil on the wall quilt that I am making for my sister-in-law. There are plain 6" blocks and a plain border (also patchwork blocks) that need to be quilted, and marks would easily show. So, I have to find a few quilting designs, that will go together for the 6" blocks, the border and side triangle blocks and corner triangles!

It is like a knife, but it doesn't make a real mark, like a pencil or chalk? I just bought one; now I can't remember the name of it. I will be so happy if it works for me as well as it worked for you. I need a stencil for a border for a wall quilt I am making as a gift, and am going to look for stencils online right now.
