I guess with all the Crazy Quilting blogs I visit it comes up a lot because they do a lot of Silk Ribbon Embroidery on the CQ squares! I guess I erroneously thought that since everyone over here is online stitichers that they all knew! That's what I get for assuming! :)

I know what you mean about not been to "active" on the Internet at this time. Ever since starting CYBER FYBER, my time on-line has been mainly spent just managing the trades and the exhibition. I steadfastly refuse to cut into my studio and stitching time! Stitchin fingers is an absolutely wonderful network of fiber enthusiatists. It is, however, set up like all other social networking sites with a "friends"...which is sort of silly....I think all 782+ of us are already "friends"! Tomorrow I leave for another week in the Manchester area....watching my elder son dance in Giselle and the Stravinsky triple bill....and visiting museums. Steve also going. Together we are making a day trip to Buxton. One of these days we will get into Wales!

I'm far behind on some of my correspondence....but I'm catching up! I really like your picture here. It is a perfect image of a modern woman...an embroiderer with a laptop! I'm on the TAST program too. I've never done something like this and really wanted to so many times last year. It is exciting to think about the new stitches on my horizon....oh, my son Mathias is terribly excited about going to Wales next year. It seems that Birmingham Royal Ballet will be performing in Cardiff. He's very smudge that he'll get to Wales before me! I've been to Ludlow, Shrewsbury, and Chester....getting close! I'll make it someday!

At 5:59am on June 20, 2008, Judith said…: Hi Margaret, hope you enjoyed the C&G exhibition, I'm hoping to go to Windsor tomorrow to see the Degree show at Berkshire College.Today I went with a friend to the open studio of sisters who are both textile artists and make art dolls as well,one of them took a workshop with Margaret Beal recently, there is so much going on at this time of the year we could do with 36 hour day and a 9 day week! best wishes Judith.
