I've been away for a couple of weeks, and have just caught up with the TAST Project. I've done some samples of the four stitches so far, using 1, 2 and 3 strands of cotton thread and varying the width and length of the stitches. The plan is to put these samples in a book with some notes and a design for using each stitch. Whether I will ever have time to do all the designs is another matter! - I have loved doing embroidery for as long as I can remember, and used my skills to great advantage as a teenager in the 70's to embroider my own clothes! After many years of not doing any embroidery I discovered the Embroiderers Guild and was inspired to take it up again.

I've been away for a couple of weeks, and have just caught up with the TAST Project. 9. Swaps, round robbins, stitch a longs and challenges are organized through groups. Ideally leaders would have experience with these activities. Swappers take responsibility for their own Exchanges. I, Sharon Boggon DO NOT take responsibility for swaps round robbins etc that get lost, go wrong, or dont work out as expected.
10. Abbreviations, colloquialisms and slang are difficult for anyone who has English as their second language. So please avoid them.
