- I enjoy all forms of needlework and it's history. I used to teach embroidery in all it's forms and techniques. At the moment I'm working on learning lace making and have made a start of crazy quilting.

How frustrating not to be able to have your books handy. The South East is so expensive to live these days! I lived in Sutton for a while before we moved to Canada. Hope you enjoy the embroidery show.

I am a real fan of Jan Beaney and Jean Littlejohn. I note you live in Surrey - I would love to take a course from them, but am debating whether I really want to spend the $ to go to Italy! Do you know their work? They travel within the UK giving talks and courses I believe. thanks for asking me to be your friend. I'm learning hand-embroidery techniques, and love high relief stitches that I can use in my landscapes. Glad you like my work - it's fun to do.
