- What textiles are you interested in?
- Embroidery , crochet, knitting , patchwork etc
- Where did you learn your textile skills?
- Started sewing and knitting from the age of four , I used to sew and cook with my grandma and aunts . They told me I would say I can do that and when they said okay try I just started working vbg . When the last of my four children started school I went to university and became a Home Economist , thus ended up teaching cooking and sewing for a living . My cousin John Gates also teaches embroidery , specializes in gold work in the UK . I also used to make cloth dolls and won awards for them here in Australia and over in America
