- Really in almost everything, but mostly embroidery.

- My grandmother,mother and loads of magazines and books.
- Is there anything else you'd like other members of Stitchin' Fingers to know about you? Please feel free to tell us a little bit about yourself by way of introduction.
- I like to experiment with all the skills I learned over the years. Like many of us devoted stitchers we started with crosstitch and did everything by the book. It took my quite a while to let go of that and now I love to experiment with tecnics, color, material and design!

Hello Loren, I'm speechless, having just looked through your photos. Wow, your crochet work is amazing, love the freestyle of it, so inspiring. As for your embroidery there is no word I can think of to let you know how gorgeous it is. I've never seen such work before and as I both embroider and crochet I'm so inspired. I would get stitching right away if it wasn't for the fact that it's past 11pm already. Goodness me, I need to look at them all again. Well done.

Dank je wel voor je complimenten! Ik heb nog wel steeds mijn naam in het plaatje staan; alleen niet meer zo opvallend. Eens kijken of het goed gaat. Namaken vind ik overigens geen probleem, maar het bleek dat mijn foto's in folders verschenen zonder dat me dat gevraagd was. En dat vind ik dan weer wat minder...
Wat een leuke kevertjes heb je trouwens weer gemaakt!

Hoi Loren,
Die show in Jersey klinkt leuk; moet je zeker hier verslag van doen! Twee jaar terug heb ik, denk ik, een vergelijkbaar iets bezocht in een klooster in Beieren. Denk je echt: "Er is hier toch niets?", blijkt er heel veel super talent te zien te zijn!
Ik heb bij de RSN nu officieel mijn diploma afgerond. Het laatste project was witwerk en daar heb ik een variatie op de Schwalmtechniek gemaakt. Komende handwerkbeurs in Zwolle sta ik in stand 146 met de RSN. Dit is ook vooral om te promoten dat vanaf januari 2013 ik hier in Capelle les ga geven in het RSN certificaat. Gisteravond had ik een informele bijeenkomst met twee gegadigden en dat was heel inspirerend!
Op het moment ben ik, naast de TAST, ook bezig met het bedenken en uitwerken van nieuwe workshops. Altijd een heel werk, maar wel erg leuk om te doen. Waar werk jij op het ogenblik aan?

Thank you for your nice comment on my TAST 2012 picture! I love the new beetle you have uploaded. Shortly, I will start experimenting with dragon flies and beetles. I've sourced a multitude of nice materials to make them from. Can't wait to start! (but need to do some other important things first...).
