Peta, what a clever doll! I love the way you cut, painted, fringed, and generally coerced the fabrics to do what you wanted! I think she is a winner!

Beautiful. I'll bet it really sparkles in "real" life.

Profile Information

What aspect of textiles are you interested in?
embroidery, quilting, postcards, collage, cloth dolls, - the list is endleess! Just about anything to do with fabric and thread. Since I retired from the day job, Textiles is my job!
Where did you learn your textle skills?
Early stitching was taught by an elderly neighbor who I called Robbie. We spent hours listening to radio soaps and crocheting or tatting. Learned some additional skills from Mom and Grandma - including machine sewing, but a lot has been self-taught - or day classes.

Liz,

Thank you for your kind comment about my cottage etui. It was fun to make. Not particularly useful though. LOL The inside holds a rolled up tape measure.

Thanks, Liz. I look forward to making your page - doors, where I live here in a small village on Crete, Greece there are loads of old stone buildings which have old doors but in impressive stone carved doorways. Does this apeal? Or just the door, which would be just as good with the old wood and peeling paint etc.

Hey Liz!
What size cellophane envelopes do you get for FPCs? Is it the 6 1/4 x 4 1/2 ? It seems like that size would work.

Hi Liz
I just checked the 'file' in the group. There were only 4 names in the list for the fpc. The way I am reading is that you swap with Gina and I swap with RoseMarie. I am happy to make a card for you and will get started right NOW.
