Liz in Kansas's Discussions

Welcome from NE Kansas!

Profile Information

What type of textile arts are you interested in?
embroidery, quilting, postcards, collage, cloth dolls, - the list is endleess! Just about anything to do with fabric and thread. Since I retired from the day job, Textiles is my job!
What's your favorite type of needlework?
Early stitching was taught by an elderly neighbor who I called Robbie. We spent hours listening to radio soaps and crocheting or tatting. Learned some additional skills from Mom and Grandma - including machine sewing, but a lot has been self-taught - or day classes.

Thank you so much for your complements! It is wonderful to finally be in the company of fellow cloth doll makers. I am new to this site so I am still learning how everything works. I'm excited to post more of my dolls, but only 5 a day are allowed.LOL~You can also see them on my Facebook page under Syng Kingdom Dolls.

Thanks, Liz—I enjoyed making her. I may do another one . . . assuming it ever cools off enough to work again!
