Profile Information

What textiles are you interested in?
I like many textile arts, including quilting embellished with applique, embroidery and beadwork. Also like various methods of rug hooking. Enjoy working freestyle stitches on cotton shirting, printed quilting cotton and muslin. Counted thread stitches on Aida and linen.
Where did you learn your textile skills?
Attended various quilting technique classes as well as learning from sharing with friends and acquaintances. Most embroidery stitches were learned using inumerable wonderful embroidery books. Still learning.
Let us know you are not a spam bot. Is there anything else you want to say to introduce yourself to the group?
I'm looking forward to sharing the art of embroidery and hopefully inspiring some young stitchers in a 4-H Needle Craft club I am starting in January.

Thank you LInda for your lovely comment - so nice to read. The best way really to write to somebody is by being friends. After some time, if you get to know the stitchin lady a bit better, you could exchange e-mail addresses. I got quite some good friends like this...and it is so much fun to write to "stitchin girls" all over the world. Anneliese

Good to see you here, Linda.

And your sewing box again. It was the best of show in the guild challenge, no matter how you cut it.
