Well, I think I owe an apology to all who have so graciously checked my blog hoping for decent content!!! Life here in Hudson, WI has been difficult. We moved here Aug. 7, my husband was diagnosed with lung cancer on Thanksgiving (never smoked!) and he passed away on March 17. This past Sunday (April 23rd) we had his memorial service. (It was a fabulous celebration of his life!!! ) So, not much stitching has been done. Only today did I sit down and try to fix my ridiculous blog! Now life is…See More

- Working with wools - crazy quilts - embroidery . All done making clothes! Now I only do the crazy quilts and build little journals using the wools and I knit.

Due to all kinds of crazy mistakes while trying to change my blog (make it better) I totally messed up the whole thing! Yikes! So now I had to start over. To all who were following, join on again!!!! Finally, time to pick up a needle and beautiful threads and ribbons!!!!! Back to working on my piece for my blog: www.llkdesigns.blogspot.com. and write and photograph Journey With a Quilt and a Blog. It has been wonderful to keep my imagination going by checking in and seeing what all of you are doing!!!!! Amazing!

It is a shame though that shops aren't inclined to sell wool, our poor sheep farmers are doing it tough here in Australia. Woolen garments are very expensive here and there are always various 'blends' coming onto the market to try and entice manufacturers, buyers etc to invest in woolen fabric. It is so beautiful to look at and to work with. Thank you for sharing your lovely work with us on SF.
