Hi Laurie,
I received your lovely postcard in the mail when I came home from work today... what a wonderful surprise! It is beautiful! Thank you so much! I sent mine off to the recipient yesterday but I didn't see her name on stitcin fingers so I don't know how to tell her that it is on the way.
fondly,
Val

Hi Laurie,
I just visited your blog for the first time - you are one busy lady! I chuckled at one of your comments about being 50 and able to do anything you like; it's a great time of life, isn't it! I'm just a tad older than you ;-) and love having a choice of what I'm going to do each day - mostly stitching of course!
I noticed a few queries on the Fabric postcard Group asking about the May/June swap you organised. Is that still going ahead?

Laurie: Welcome to the Quilters Anon. Group. I love the colors in your quilt; do you have more photos to put up? There is a discussion about Color in the Design Group which you might enjoy. I like that you said you've learned from library books, because I have done the same. I volunteer in a small library so have always considered libraries a great source. Kathleen
