What aspect of textiles are you interested in?
I am most intrested in embroidery, crazy qilt, fabric ATC and fabric postcard. In the past i have done much home dec and clothes but I rathed do small things nowdays.
Where did you learn your textle skills?
From my mother. She did everything from sew clothes and home dec to flemish tapestry and rag carpet. She also lover to embroider och crochet.
Anything else you want to say to introduce yourself to the group??

The apple bag

I am trying to finish my apple bag, but it feels a bit boring to embroider the final letters. I so much want to sew it togheter now!


I got the fabric for the inside of the bag yesterday. So I have to finish the embroidery now so I can sew it togheter.

javisst det går i vågor, ibland broderi ibland något annat. Själv håller jag på att ladda upp till min etsy shop nu, och det tar också tid. Och så får jag väl ladda upp lite hit också, sedan har man ju bloggen - och ett vanligt liv ;-) ??

Hej Eva! Tack för inbjudan :-) Har fått förut men brydde mig inte om att ansluta då. Men det var väldigt vad kvickt det gick att få in både avatar och vänner, förstår nu att det är samarbete med den andra nign ruppen - fiber arts mixed media, få se om detta kan ge något nytt, eller tar bara ännu mera tid vid datorn ;-)

On the silk ribbon question - I LOVE the Thread Gatherer overdyed - nothing like it! The YLI is flimsy, and frays badly - but the River Silks is beautiful in the solid colors. I don't care for the splotchiness of the overdyes.
