Profile Information

What aspect of textiles are you interested in?
Embroidery, crazy-quilting, sewing, cross-stitch...
Where did you learn your textle skills?
I learned crocheting from my grandmother and some things about sewing from my mom which was a seamstress.
Knitting and some easy embroidery stitches were showed to us in school but I never payed much attention to embroidery before I get access to the internet.
Seeing all the beautiful things other people do, I enjoy exploring other textile aspects.

Thank you... I've been thinking about making some dolls for a while, making the faces is such a challenge isn't it? Your dolls have lovely serene faces.

Hi Kirsten, thanks for visiting my blog, thought I would leave a message for you here. you have some fantastic things on you blog. Love the merry little house and your fabulous pumpkin doll.
Also, your English is fantastic, much better than anything translated with bable fish. I tried to translate your blog with that this morning and It made no sense whatsoever! In fact it was rather funny. Hope you have a great day.

Thank you for the comment on my photo of the Aussie Animal quilt. I think I missed it at the time.....sorry!
But I have just noticed your samplers, in particular the Christmas sampler, so pardon me while I stare for a while.

Hi Kirsten, I've been enjoying your photos so much. Thank you for commenting on my blog. I've tried to follow your blog, but language makes some things a bit hard to understand. Thank goodness for Babelfish! The pictures don't need translation, though. It's all beautiful work!

I didn't realize the motifs were your own drawings. That is just fabulous. And I like the swan very much. You are sure one talented individual!

The At Home In the Woods blocks are for a wedding quilt for my son who lives in Colorado. He was married one year ago...I am late, but with love! Hopefully it will be completed soon.
