Hi Anne,

Hi Kim, little late in adding my welcome, but very nice to welcome you to our little group. I'll be seeing you in Hawkwood in August on the phase 10 class. Are you doing teacher class as well?
I'm madly working away on Treasure Ship, it's pretty close to completion so shouldn't take very much longer (famous last words).
Have fun here

Hi Kim welcome to stitchin fingers I look forward to see pictures of your work. I see that Carol- anne has given you a web site to look at you might like to look at http://www.nuido.blogspot.com this is a web site of the group Carol-anne, Jane Maggie and I belong to and if you look hard enough you will find some of our work. Have fun and I hope to talk to you soon Sue
Hi Kim, you will have good company in Stroud, at least two SF members are also attending the Phase X class, Cathy and Jane, as will another friend of ours (Maggie) who is not a member of SF. I think you might not be the only one madly stitching over the Easter Break ;-) A few more friends will be at Stroud for the other classes.
Unfortunately I will not be able to go this time eventhough Stroud is less than 50 miles from my home.
Hi Cathy & Carol-Anne
I'm madly stitching over the Easter Break to finish my Michenaga so I can attend Phase X at Hawkwood near Stroud in August with Mr Tamura, organised by Jackie Hall. I know it seems crazy to travel half way around the world to do this ... well maybe not! I have had a class with Mr Tamura once before when he came to Adelaide in South Australia in 2000. I am thrilled to find this group and will try and make time to write and post images (not just read everything and do no stitching!)

Hi Kim, welcome to Stitchin Fingers. Very pleased to meet another student of Japanese Embroidery. There is quite a group of us here now, in fact we have formed a group - Japanese Embroidery Group - and would be pleased to have you join us.
I recently began Himotaba for my Phase V, but at the moment I am trying to finish Venerable Friends (I am extremely close now and have only a few hours stitching remaining) I have also begun Japanese Beading. I have completed Phase I and hope to begin Phase II very soon.
I would love to know what you have done/are doing.
