I love textiles with defined patterns but the more I work at my hand embroidery, the more I am learning to enjoy and appreciate more free form
Where did you learn your textile skills?
I started had embroidery in Grade 2 and have not put a needle down since. As a young child I used to spend a lot of time with a grandmother - sewing on buttons from her button tin was a favourite afternoon activity whilst she was busy sewing.
