"Kay, I did so much enjoy this blog. I believe one of the important things she mentioned is that you should let yourself come through. When your personality is added, it give an individual's character and life to a composition. Cara"

kay I really like your quilts. the red stars are very nice. I like the acorns and leaves remind me of the tree of life book I have...that stylised look. The brown and green star quilt is amazing. I have one I've been foundation pieceing for a while...it's a collection of bright fabric stars on a black background one day it will be my milky way quilt... I've been teaching myself to foundation piece i Hoped it would make me more accurate.
If your still interested in doing a xmas post card swap I would swap with you. I thought it was strange people requesting a style. I want to be surprised and encouraged cheers Shazz

Hi Kay,
I haven't been into Stitchin Fingers for a few days, so I've only just read your comment on my profile page. Thanks for your explanation! I do hope this hasn't put you off participating in future exchanges?

I enjoyed your blog. Especially your trip to Navy Pier. It has been several years since we were there. Your work shows that you're quite versatile! And I disagree, I think you have a style. Even traditional quilts have your style reflected in the choices you make. And you have a great eye for color!

Hi Kay, Gina E has put us together for the halloween postcard swop. How do I send you a private message with my email and address? Do you know? Wasn't sure about just posting my information on your page.

Looking forward to the swop and hearing from you soon

I just looked the fabric up on the web. Wow, I love how you used the feathers to represtent the fish scales, that was inspirational.

If you like curves, I add a Patchwork Jigsaw to my real blog about once a week. I have only been doing it for three weeks, which means I am already a couple of weeks ahead of schedule!

Hi Kay,
I was looking at your work and it is awesome... Love your quilts. I just finished putting a binding on a wholecloth quilt(108" x 89") which I handquilted. It needed a 2 color binding(one side cream and the other side pale blue) No Easy job as the edge was scallopped!!!! eek!!!
I will get a picture when it hangs at our quilt show next week.
Meanwhile I'm back working at the postcards.. Oh what fun!!LOL>
xoxo
(((hugs)))

Mine's in E, I think. It's not going anywhere large or anywhere I can see it this time. Disappointing. I'll look for yours at the Mancuso show if I go.
