- Kay, your quilts are lovely. I was drawn to the Star Sampler and to Oak Leaves. I've always wanted to make a sampler of stars but I have not tackled large quilts lately. Your quilt make be the impetus to simply start with one star block and make it a WISP. I've worked with hand appliqued leaves on one large quilt and other small wall quilts, so your Asian influenced Oak Leaves "spoke to me". Thanks for sharing. Kathleen

I was looking at your work and it is awesome... Love your quilts. I just finished putting a binding on a wholecloth quilt(108" x 89") which I handquilted. It needed a 2 color binding(one side cream and the other side pale blue) No Easy job as the edge was scallopped!!!! eek!!!
I will get a picture when it hangs at our quilt show next week.
Meanwhile I'm back working at the postcards.. Oh what fun!!LOL>
