from our babysitter as a kid, in school, numerous classes ever since...

I'm trying to incorporate more handwork into my quilting, while moving toward more contemporary, abstract work

Hi Kathy I used silk velvet for the center, made a circle stuffed some padding into it and then sewed the back. I added glitter 1 piece at a time with glue to the top of velvet.

Hi Kathy,
re cross pross: those photos with purposely shifted colors due to the treatment when developing the film.like all that one can see around now
here's a link for a better explanation.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cross_processing
you can recreate the look in photoshop and there are actions for it.

Hello Kathy,

Thank you for your comment about my Crazy patchwork cushion. I have really enjoyed using differnt fabrics, thread and stitch for this recent work. I love your photos, you are pushing boundaries too! isn't great fun my grandmother woul have loved wha wehave got around.
