I love being Crafty but I'm mostly knitting and beading with small foray's into crochet. I am also interested sewing clothes n things and cross stitch although I find I have less time than I'd like to devote to either activity.
Where did you learn your textile skills?
My Nana taught me how to knit and crochet when I was very young but have only picked it up seriously in the last 5 years or so. Other craft skills have been picked up as I've tried them...and I did work in a craft store for 5 years.

A 30 something Australian married to an Englishman. We've just moved back to Australia after 6 years in the UK and are currently trying to re-establish our lives here. Just looking to chat and share with anyone who, like me, loves all things crafty!
Hi there Kathie - another Melbourne person here...I, like Gina E look forward to seeing you around 'stitchin fingers'... Gina and I met through another craft forum eons ago and have been partners in (craft ) crime ever since...We both lament that we wish we had more time and equally enough funds to pursue all we would like to do - plus extra rooms to put it all in :) How is the house cleaning going??? Take care now...
