All three of your pieces are lovely. I'm impressed that they are originals, too. About how long did each one take to make?
If I had read a little further, my question was answered. This looks really nice. I really like the "nature frame". I hope designers start creating more of these.
I llike the way this looks as a corner design with an edging. I like it better than blackwork used as a block filling. Did you use Holbein stitch or back stitch?

- I am a retired elementary school teacher (32 years, mostly second grade). I work part time as an advisory teacher for a home schooling service via postal mail and Internet. I have much free time for reading and crafting and LOVE it.
This July, 2009 will mark my 35th wedding anniversary. In January our 31 year old son married so now we have a daughter-in-law. :-)

I really haven't had time to learn all the ins and outs of the SF site yet. I can't even find where to read about this... Today when I looked at my page there was a box with a bow on it and a sentence telling me I had not received any "gifts" yet. I have no clue what that means! I am not sure I want to click on it to find out either. LOL
What are you working on? Do you work on one project until it is finished or do you have two or three going all at the same time?
I have a couple of unfinished pieces I really need to finish. If I get too far away from them I find it very hard to go back to them. I think I just loose interest.

- Thanks Karen. YEs, it's a part of a future quilt, the block is appliqued (Shannon rose) and now, I embroider it. More photos later. It's a very long work, and I begin only the embroidery........................(8 big blocks)

- Karen, thanks!! My snail is in post st., (only two: one very long an other longer and rolled) the signature is made of 2 stitches, the base and a uper rolled thread (I have forgotten the name in english, sorry!)Friendly!
