On the Today show, which I watch every morning, they showed one of the ladies, who at the time was doing part of the show from a tall mountain, wearing this hat and I fell in love with the theme and pattern. Her hat was like a bombers hat and was trimmed in some large designs around the bottom and had some designs stitched on the crown.
I was given a mustard colored wool bag to use as a pattern. I will not be using it so got the idea of using this bag to make my hat from. It fit perfect when I put it over my head so now I need to cut it to shape and find the stitches to add to it.

Do you works? I am retired now but drove the large charter coaches for Millers Transportation there in L-ville. I also worked at Caesars in the food and Bev. office before marrying and retiring.
We (husband) and I are starting up our own web business to see how that goes. Retirement is not all that great when one had no extra money.
As you can see in my picture, I am a part-time entertainer also. I play/sing at parties, receptions, piano bar, or just anywhere I can find a piano. I am quite good too and got of bookings when I lived in Seymour, where I moved from as everyone knew me and my style. Now that I live here, I am finding it hard to find places to play at. I don't charge friends/family and when I get jobs I don't charge much there either.

So far...I certanly am not a geek, but I can send and receive, most of the time. This is so great, I need a fix from my Louisville friend occasionaly. I loved living there...lo, those many years ago.
