"I agree with Carol-Anne.  Provided your fabric is in a frame but not too tight and that you are using the right needle and thread you should be able to do shadow work on chiffon.  How many strands of thread are you using?  Perhaps…"

"i am actually planning to work on a long scarf...i tried to do herring bone on the wrongside (for shadow work)on it using 10 no needle....but it is pulling the fabric and the output is not neat....how should i go about it? ur suggestions can really…"
