OOOOHHHH It is beautiful.In our garden we have some hens and it seems that you copied them. Did you aplicate them and then quilted the back ground? What a piece of work.

- I love to embroider, applicque and very basic patchwork.
I also knit and crochet.
- Where did you learn your textle skills?
- I am mostly self taught, after basic instruction from my dear mum when I was just a little girl

- I am married and still with my husband of 40 years.
I have two grown sons, both married and two dear little grandsons.

You did an excellent job of picking out the materials for the "chooks." I'm sure you noticed that I put quotation marks around chooks. It's because I, being an American, was not familiar with this term for chickens until the summer of 2007 when we traveled to Australia to attend the wedding of my twin sister's oldest daughter.
