Hello, Just to let you know I'm taking part in the One World, One Heart Giveaway on my blog and I'm giving away 2 lovely new craft books - a copy of Cloth Dolls by Brenda Brightmore, and The Encyclopedia of Machine Embroidery by Val Holmes. Oh, and…

Busy trying to be creative in the freezing weather we are having! Happy New Year!
Hi, Jules, lovely to hear from you and please forgive my very tardy response - I've not been on Stitchin Fingers for a while. Sheila bumped into me on Boxing Day in Congresbury, where I live. Would be lovely to meet you in reality one day, too. You do some gorgeous work! Hope your back is holding up now and that you are enjoying the building work being over. I've been effectively housebound because of the current weather but it's great to curl up on the sofa under a rug and do some crocheting and planning of future projects! Happy New Year to you and yours, and warm wishes to you.
Dear Jules
The photos of the fans are actually my tutors fans Midori Matsushima (www.midori-embroidery.com). I just finished the Drooping Cherry and it is on it's way to Japan to be made into a fan. I just wanted people to see how beautiful they are; Midori lives in London.

Not sure how close to Bristol you live or how far Bovington is away from you but we are at an Arts and Craft Show (look at the group whats on where) next weekend it there for five days but I am only there for the first three. If you do manage to come please say hello to us. It is a beautiful show full of all sorts of craft works and stalls. I think it is always worth a visit. Thank you for your comments
Hi Jules I have loved looking at your work and I love your kingfisher its a beautiful bird to stitch it has some many colours. I have stitched a few over the years. I saw a white peacock for the first time in my life last year and would love to stitch one but as yet not found a design.
