"I bead on leather all the time and have made a few pairs of infant moccasins in my day. Suede and leather behave essentially the same in my experience. Regular sewing needles are really difficult to get through leather unless it is buttery soft.…"

What textiles are you interested in?: Crazy Quilting, unusual threads/fibers, applique, crochet motifs. I used to sew darling "granddaughter dresses" until she decided that her friends weren't wearing dresses.
