A marvelous piece. it has the look of extreme texture, but is really just illusion (mostly) caused by color choices. Very well done!

If I was judging Brazilian it would have to be in Rayon but not necessarily Edmar though I think this is the best rayon. If I use the Brazilian stitches in other threads I don't call it Brazilian. I use a lot of the stitches in my wool embroidery and also a lot of the detached buttonhole crops up in needle lace work with a lot of different names. So, except when entering a competition which states Brazilian you can use anything you like and do the stitches in other threads. Sandra
