Jocelyn, noticed your comments on Edmar threads last May but am only new so here is my reply. I am an Aussie and also an embroidery judge. If I was judging Brazilian it would have to be in Rayon but not necessarily Edmar though I think this is the best rayon. If I use the Brazilian stitches in other threads I don't call it Brazilian. I use a lot of the stitches in my wool embroidery and also a lot of the detached buttonhole crops up in needle lace work with a lot of different names. So, except when entering a competition which states Brazilian you can use anything you like and do the stitches in other threads. Sandra
