Jocelyn, noticed your comments on Edmar threads last May but am only new so here is my reply. I am an Aussie and also an embroidery judge. If I was judging Brazilian it would have to be in Rayon but not necessarily Edmar though I think this is the best rayon. If I use the Brazilian stitches in other threads I don't call it Brazilian. I use a lot of the stitches in my wool embroidery and also a lot of the detached buttonhole crops up in needle lace work with a lot of different names. So, except when entering a competition which states Brazilian you can use anything you like and do the stitches in other threads. Sandra
Another member just pointed me to your blog and your whitework sampler. Absolutely fantastic. My particular interest is pulled thread and Hardanger, but the others are interesting, too. And it is great to see them all together in a bunch.
