What textiles are you interested in?
Japanese kimono textiles. Geisha, Kyoto, Japanese culture, Japanese food
Where did you learn your textile skills?
I was a city and guild textile tutor. Been lucky enough to sell my textile artwork all over the world for many years now. Been too busy lately to get work done, getting itchy fingers.
Is there anything else you'd like other members of Stitchin' Fingers to know about you? Please feel free to tell us a little bit about yourself by way of introduction.
I love all things Japanese. Although I do not do embroidery I appreciate the skills used

Hello Jill, You commented on my Japanese Embroidery - Kirigami - that is a phase 2 piece, not phase 1 so don't be daunted. Not as complicated as it looks anyway.

Hi Jill, it occurs to me that if you are doing the phase class Denise might have to order a piece for you so she'll need to know pretty soon.   Her email is the same one as for the trip you're organising for us so drop her a line and she'll get you sorted.
