I am interested in almost anything that you can make with a threaded needle and I knit. I do needlepoint (charted and painted canvas), cross stitch (contemporary and sampler reproductions), hardanger, black work and surface embroidery. I knit and am currently learning to make lace. I also quilt and make clothing.
Where did you learn your textle skills?
My mother sewed, knitted and did many kinds of embroidery and macrame. She taught me to sew. I also took classes in clothing construction in school. As an adult, I have attended workshops and participated in on line classes through various guilds and Joggles.
Hi, Jenny. You are much more organized than I. I've never taken photos of all my projects. I too love to do any thing with a needle and thead. I am working on a knitted lace shawl. I am knitting the lace edging directly to the shawl. Iam also making snowflakes in different techniques. Iam also doing several SALs. Ilove making lace in all its forms from tatting to bobbin. I'm happy that you joined.
Hi Jenny,
Thanks for joining Cross Stitchin Fingers. I've had a quick look at your slide show, and am impressed!! Please feel free to post comments or start new discussions on the Group site. I will post a welcome message to you on there now.
