Take A Stitch on Tuesday

In 2007 Sharon Boggon ran a challenge - Take a Stitch on Tuesday. TAST appears to be great for the beginners among us as the stitches are explained in great detail and with many photos to help someone master them. Everyone is welcome to join us.

Profile Information

What aspect of textiles are you interested in?: embroidery, quilting, rughooking in general...
specifically; ATC's, samplers,crazy patchwork, contemporary quilts as art and as functional bedding

Where did you learn your textle skills?: Began as a child and have taken courses and workshops both locally from our provincial craft school's textile program and from various visiting teachers. I am a member of our embroiderers' guild as well a quilters' guild. I also stitch and quilt with two smaller groups.

On My Page under my avatar there is a 'change photo' link. Perhaps you have an 'Add Photo' below your pic on your page.

If not you need to edit your Ning profile, there is a tab for photo there that helps you to upload and crop a pic, if I remember correctly.

I hope you enjoy TAST, it is a lovely way to try out new stitches or explore those you already know a bit more.
