Hi Jennifer thanks for your comment on my slippers, they are still a work in progress I am ashamed to say and sadly I can't lay clame to the bedspread...this I got from a friend who visited India.

The Slippers were very easy to make...I will see if I still have the pattern...I will let you know.....

Hi Jennifer, thank you for joining the Japanese embroidery group. Happy to have you with us.
The Japanese embroidery we do is very structured and we use traditional frames. Best thing to do is to try and find a group in your area to see if you can pop along and have a chat with them. I'll post a note in the group and see if there is anyone within easy reach of you.
happy stitching,
jane

--with beautiful French embroideries.
**The french embroideries are very beautiful in the "Haute couture", but elsewhere, I think they are classical, not very free ...
-- which states have you been to?
**New Mexico and Maine, Vermont, the north of Virginia, Philadelphie, Baltimore, New- York, Cashington, ...3000 kms in east.......Warm regards!

Jennifer, it's not the post stitch that I know; it's very different, the technic and the result; in my translation, it's called point de rosette, but rosette stitch is not that.So I can say more. But if you go in France (!) I shall you this rare stitch!....YEEEEEEEEEEES! do you come?
for me, I don't know Oregon, but I was in the east of USA, then in the south (New Mexico) and a third in north of USA and in Quebec....................

Jennifer. First, I like what you do and chiefly the yellow cushion.
For the roses, they are very special and very often, somebody asks for me. I have never seen them in France, and only in an australian magazine (Inspiration)translated in a bad french. So I don't know the name. It's done rolling the thread around a pin...........I am sorry if I cannot give a better answer. You can see more in my pages.............I do them very often because, it's not difficult!!

HI Jennifer
I got message saying you were having trouble joining groups. I see on your wall you are responding to messages in the design group so I assume there is no longer a problem. Is that right?

A lovely butterfly jennifer! Just come along and join in the discussions in the Design group - consider this as an invitation - although you don't need an invite to join any group, it would seem.

There has been some great discussion so far. I look forward to your contributions.
