Where can I start:) I enjoy quilting, needle felting, beads, dolls, fabric postcards, ATC, crochet, I enjoy it all:)
Where did you learn your textle skills?
Mom Rita, Grandmother Dolores, 4-H and lots of classes along the way.
Anything else you want to say to introduce yourself to the group??
I enjoy spending time in my studio making items for charity, friends, and family. Collecting fabrics, beads, embellishments and sewing notions are habits I can't seem to break:)
Hi Jenna Louise,
Lovely to hear from you and glad that you are feeling creative again. Sometimes it's hard and outside things seem to take over, especially work, but aren't we all lucky to have such a passion and love for what we create.
I had a bumpy ride with my doll for the swap as I had 3 unexpected work trips away in March, but had great support from my swapping partners! Looking forward to packing her up and to the next swap, which I hope wil be less frantic!
Speak soon I hope
hello Jenna Louise, glad you have your creative spirit back. There is something about the longer days and the return of the sun which gives one a lift. March was heavy going for me but the pear tree is in bloom, the daffs are a picture and I can feel the urge to be branching out. I loved the pictures of the mammagram vests on your blog, keep up the good work, warmest good wishes, sheila
Thank you so much for your kind comment.I greatly admire the work you do too!

Hi Jenna Louise! I really enjoyed looking at your work I think it's very expressive and vibrant, and thank you for your kind comments about my dolls. I love doing them but I've still got a lot to learn - and there are so many other wonderful things to try....!
Thanks so much for inviting me to be your friend!

If you want to finish somthing fairly fast to get a feel, I would try something small. I noticed from your pic's that you tend to like cards - what about a small 6" cq block which you could make into a card or even a cq postcard. I know that there are instructions for make the fabric post cards on the web and I think you could do something similar with a 6" cq block but make it into a greeting card using interfacing. If you would like, I would be interested in doing a card and we could exchange (that way you could do two, one to keep and one to share.) If this card thing is not "your cuppa" I don't get hurt feelings very easily lol. Zandra
