Hi Jennifer. I didn't have a stand when I first started doning JE. For several weeks I rested my frame across the backs of 2 dining room chairs or between the dining table and sideboard adjusting the height difference with books.
Then I bought two 'A' frames from Ikea. They are meant as table legs I think but they worked well as a frame stand. They each had a shelf between the 'A' which was good place to put all of my bits but they where a bit bulky and no good at all for travelling with :-)
Hi Jennifer, pleased to see that you have joined Stitchin Fingers and the JE group. I had such a lovely time in Preston and it was a delight to meet you again and meet some new stitchy friends. Have you done any more stitching since you got home?
Welcome to stitchin fingers and I look forward to chatting to you. Thank you so much for the lovely four days with you all. Have you found the Japanese Embroidery Group. Talk to you soon Sue X
