"I am currently doing the impossible - typing while bending forward in the middle. Would someone please give me a kick in the britches? Aaaargh! The cushon cover is almost finished - then I discovered a mistake…"
"Fiona, I'm so sorry about your bad news. I really understand how a major shock needs some time out, especially for such a busy person as you've been. Hope things are looking up for you and you'll soon have all those…"
"Hi Suzanne, for me life got in the way of getting any work done (crochet that is!) My DH had a massive heart attack which took me out of the scene for quite some time, I found I needed mindless crochet. Running a 7 day a week business &…"
I'm a needlepoint designer and author, specializing in stitch guides for painted canvases. I just (May 2008) published my second book, Bargello Revisited, which covers one of my great passions, Bargello.
Thank you for making me a friend. I am so sorry it took so long for me to acknowledge the request, but I have been floundering with the features on this site. I am more familiar with the bulletin formats. I think I have it figured out now.
Unfortunately, I won't be able to participate in a monthly challenge.
I have a stupid illness that means I have limited time in which to do anything, and I've got two projects on the go already - my Historical Design sampler (elizabethan embroidery) and my Long and Short stitch project which will be a gift for a friend.
I really can't do any more than I'm already doing.
I feel bad because the membership of the group is low.
I'm going to rope in a friend that isn't currently a member of Stitchin Fingers, but has asked to borrow all my Bargello books, because she wants her next project to be a Bargello one (she's thinking Pomengranites or Hidden Boxes)
What about asking Cathy of Cathy's Bargello Pages?
