What aspect of textiles are you interested in?: I'm a needlepoint designer and author, specializing in stitch guides for painted canvases. I just (May 2008) published my second book, Bargello Revisited, which covers one of my great passions, Bargello.

Unfortunately, I won't be able to participate in a monthly challenge.
I have a stupid illness that means I have limited time in which to do anything, and I've got two projects on the go already - my Historical Design sampler (elizabethan embroidery) and my Long and Short stitch project which will be a gift for a friend.
I really can't do any more than I'm already doing.
I feel bad because the membership of the group is low.
I'm going to rope in a friend that isn't currently a member of Stitchin Fingers, but has asked to borrow all my Bargello books, because she wants her next project to be a Bargello one (she's thinking Pomengranites or Hidden Boxes)

What about asking Cathy of Cathy's Bargello Pages?

I should admit that I'm fairly new to needlepoint and having started a practice sampler I'm still deciding whether it's for me. I have to go away again today for a couple of days (not holiday this time and without computer access unless I can get to a library) but will take my sampler with me and hopefully get a photo onto flickr when I get back.
