The only book I had was the Coats and Clark's 100 Embroidery Stitches. I have had that book since I was about 10yo and referred to it hundreds of times. Unfortunately it has been lost for some months now. I needed it last week too. So, I did a sea...

I also have Mary Thomas's book and a couple of others but I really love the A-Z's published by Country Bumpkin. In fact I have just ordered 4 more while they were cheap on the weekend.

Aww, Jane, I'd love to be your friend. Since I am not at a computer right now, I'm on the blackberry, I can't tell if there is a button I need to press to accept the invitation. I will check back later. The blackberry internet service does not always show a complete web page so its hard to tell if I am doing things correctly. Talk to you later

I wouldn't give up just yet. I don't even know where to begin if I was doing a cq book. I'm just totally lost. I'm getting discouraged about it though. I've joined some other groups, but have not participated in them becuase I wanted to try one a time.

Thank you for your comments on my work! It is nice to know others enjoy what you do.
I need to go to do a blog roll to see what everyone has been up to.
Thank you for the welcome!!
