Please count me in. I've been wanting to start a band sampler and this is a really cool way to do it, I think. Will the stitches be posted here or elsewhere? Will we be working off of Sharon's old postings? Sorry I have so many questions, Helen

In 2007 Sharon Boggon ran a challenge - Take a Stitch on Tuesday. TAST appears to be great for the beginners among us as the stitches are explained in great detail and with many photos to help someone master them. Everyone is welcome to join us.

I'm glad we can compare notes. At least we know it isn't our stitching style, LOL, although I'm sure we each have one. I'm taking your advice and I'm searching for an online source for Anchor. In the interim, I'm skipping the Anchor threads but yo...

Nancy, I finally started working on Nova too, but I'm not as far along as I'd like. I had to list all the floss I needed and Eva Rosenstand and Anchor isn't available for me so I've been working on getting the DMC equivalents. Anyway, I'm glad I s...

Thanks so much for your kind words about Nova. I kept it interesting by only pulling threads for this one row at a time. Seeing all the new colors for a row each couple of weeks was all I needed to keep motivated. Have fun with it!

Great. I'll be looking forward to your postings on stitching Nova. Yes, my Starry Nights is a Laura J Perin design. It is the only pattern of hers I've done but I hope to do more. I just love her designs. She is amazingly prolific. And her blog is wonderful too.

Hi Helen,
Welcome to the Needlepoint group. We must have similar tastes. Genny Morrow's Nova is on my 'to do' list. I think it's gorgeous. The only thing that makes me hesitate is that it looks like such a BIG project. Maybe if you get going on it I will be encouraged to do it too.

Thank you Helen. I've been doing cake decorating for quite a few years and I love making the sugar flowers. But at the moment CQ has taken over and I'm obsessed! It's going to be fun doing the 100 details, I'm glad we have two days to do each one!
