Currently spending most time on hand and free machine embroidery, though I am enjoying experimenting with different techniques including my new embellisher a bit of patchwork and various mixed media methods.
Hi Helen
Did you get all your supplies from the exhibition? It's a shame the supply list came just afterwards! I'm just waiting for my interfacing and fusible (neither of which I've ever used before!) and looking forward to beginning the course.

My sister got the Pfaff( is that how you spell it?) a friend of hers has one and she had a play with it a couple of weeks ago,I'm hoping to visit my sister next month and then I can play with hers ! I shall keep my eye on the photos to see what you come up with.
Helen,
Your postcard arrived today. It is beautiful! How is it made? The goodies you sent were a great idea. Tell me something about the fibers. What projects did you use them in? Thanks for everything.
Thanks Helen. I am particularly pleased with the "sunflower" on my header. It is part of a postcard. I am pleased with it because I designed it myself from a photo I took of my aunt's gazanias. It is also the first postcard that I used stamps and paint and fabric crayons. I am starting to get a little creative. I have since made two more to that design for a swap here on the postcard group and for Cyberfyber
I learn how to do links tonight! The original photo had grub eaten petals including a grub but I couldn't embroider a convincing grub!

Thanks for the reminder, are you exhibiting anything there at all?
