I'm primarily interested in quilting, vintage quilts and cross stitch samplers, fabric journals, home decor...but always keep an open mind to try something new!
Where did you learn your textle skills?
I learned primarily from my mother and other aunts in the family, and it was required in school. After that, it was just a matter of doing and learning together with friends.
Anything else you want to say to introduce yourself to the group??
Other than my handwork (is there anything else?) I also enjoy getting lost in a good book, cooking with and for family and friends, and listening to music of a large variety. I spend lots of time outside in the parks and woods training and playing with my Golden Retriever, Darwin.
Just realized that one can blog here as well!
I'm having enough trouble keeping up with my own blog, between stitches and am wondering how other people do it.
Perhaps I can cross-post? No idea how to do that, but who knows, it may be possible....
Anyhow, back to deciding what project/s to take with me on holiday....

I have just viewed all the photos of your work. They are all so beautiful. The photos are well done also...they show such great detail. Thank you for sharing so much. It is truly inspiring.
