This is gorgeous. I have just done a beginners class in doing floral initials and I am still working on mine. I think I have to add a small insect now, having been inspired by this one. I'll post a picture when I get more done.

Where did you learn your textle skills?

Firstly from my Mother, who was a needlework teacher and founding member and teacher at the Embroiderer's Guild, Geelong branch. I belong to several Internet groups including Mixed Media and Knitting ones. Have just joined The Embroiderer's Guild

**I improvise always, I start from a drawing or a pattern (sometimes found on google) and after, no drawing: flowers, insects .They give some life, isn'it?
