Gill Kriehn replied to Sarah J's discussion What do you do with your finished work?
"There is a web site called Etsy on which you can sell crafts, embroidery etc. I don't know if this would be any good. I have not used it myself but know of people that have."

Profile Information

What textiles are you interested in?
My favourite is stumpwork although I still have much to learn
Where did you learn your textile skills?
At the local adult education department I started after retiring from work.
Let us know you are not a spammer. Is there anything else you want to say to introduce yourself to the group?
I am retired from nursing but still do a few hours as a home carer. My embroidery started just over two years ago and since then I have put on a few pounds in weight and the garden is not so cared for now that stumpwork has taken over. I was delighted to win a local competition last year but that was probably beginners luck.
